Patrick has 33 years of experience as a copywriter at Random House/Penguin Random House, Inc., as Senior Copywriter and Senior Copy Manager of the company’s dedicated Copy Department. He has composed hardcover book jacket and trade/mass market cover copy for a wide variety of titles in fiction and non-fiction genres, including mystery/thriller, sci-fi/ fantasy, historical and contemporary romance, classic literature, humor, biography, music, television, cinema and the LucasBooks line of Star Wars titles. Authors he has created copy for include bestsellers Dean Koontz, Jonathan Kellerman, Lee Child, Anne Perry, Tess Gerritsen, Douglas Adams, and Rita Mae Brown.

In addition, he has written print, TV, radio and transit advertising as well as taglines, promotional materials, and catalogs.
